I decided to close my team and turn as independent developer (it's the best way) . I'll open a WordPress website. You can check my news on Twitter account

See you!

Name team will be changed

The post title says all. I'll change it during these days, with a very cool logo I've found free around the web (http://www.templatesbox.com/free-logo-templates/index.htm)

The company will be called Indye Studio, like my future game I'll develop in the future (without Studio, obv). The only issue is the web domain, it takes more time to change it. And here's the new logo.

Bye!

Game changements and news

I want to be rapid in this post, so here some news:

1) "Indye" will be made in the future. It's difficult receive funds on IndieGogo and after some twits and contacts with some online magazine we haven't obtained any results. Patient.

2) "Space Break" will be converted on HTML5 and we send it to Spil Games hoping they accept it. For this, Space Break will be free.

3) We're making another game called "Natural Break". It's an Arkanoid-style game in the nature and for now it's on alpha version. We've sent it to Spil Games, too.

4) We changed the website graphic, and now it's more cool! :P

See you! Bye!

I'm proud to join a Developing team with my good friend Alex. Making videogames is our biggest dream and with your help we are sure that we can make it happen.

We are now developing "Indye",Alex already wrote a whole post about it,it's gonna take much time because Alex is learning me how to use GameMaker and i can say that i already know 40% about it. If "Indye" will be successfull,we're gonna export it on the Android Market

Team news and future projects

Well, Space Break was released. Yes. But it was a flop.

I've made many mistakes in the game that made it a little bit boring. Too much levels, story simply predictable, and there aren't many enemies. But i don't mind. I have much experience around the world of developing indies and business with this game. And I'm ready to make another game.

It's not going to be a sequel of Space Break (btw I sold only two copies on IndieVania and it's awaiting a response from GamersGate, Kawagames and Beamdog, but probably they decline it), but a very funny platform called "Indye".

And what does talk about?

Well. Take a game, a simply indie game, select the character, and mix him with human feelings. How should he feels in a world made with pixels?

This is the story of Indye, a simple, very simple character, without anything. No powers, no special weapons, no skills. His developer discarded him during making his game. Now Indye is lost in the large virtual world of indie games searching adventure, and he wants to meet someone that appreciates him. But he has a big dream: become a Human. Come out from the screen, and have a life.

In this game you follow the protagonist solving puzzles, completing levels and meeting strange characters where they discuss about the differences between be virtual (become an hero in few days, have special skills, don't have worries except kill the enemy and have a beatiful end) and be human (suffer, sometimes have delusions, take care of many things, become an hero after 30 years, don't have nothing of special, but have a heart and a mind for love and be happy)

So, just help him to realize his dream... Well, if you can.

It's quite nice and I think it'll become pretty much famous. (I hope)

But there are some little problems: I haven't funds. And I can't make much things with only 5 dollars. For this, I'll open a campaign with a goal of 1200 $ in 30 days on IndieGoGo, for pay a pixel artist, a concept artist, my new colleague (I'll talk about it after), some stuff (music assets, a laptop for work, and the materials for make the game avaible on Android) and other (improve the website)

I hope that the campaign reach the goal so I can finance this project. I love making videogames but I want to make good stuff,i want people to say "Wow, It's great!" while they're playing it. And become a game developer is my dream (fortunatly i can make it happen), because it makes me happy, proud of myself.

And now, time for team news.

I'm happy to introduce a new member of the team, Nazaria D'angelis (Her Nickname on this website is Xyro), level designer and programmer of the group. Like me she's in the learning phase, but we can make good stuff, don't worry (the fact that we use Game Maker and be only 15 years doesn't mean that we are noobs). You can see more information about her (and me, too) in the Info page.

See you! Ya!

Alex

Game changes

Posted by Alexander0777 on January 29, 2012 at 2:10 PM Comments comments (0)

Hey everyone! here are the new changes and news on Space Break. I've spent many hours on making levels for release the game in the established date, but here are some conclusions:

-Space Break will have 20 levels and 5 bosses. I've deleted the 6th stage due for number of sprites that aren't sufficient to make the game more longeval and original. I don't want people to be bored, so I've cut this out.

-The game will cost 2,50 € (3,50 $). More indies like my game (and better, too) costs the same price, and Space Break is made with open resources (for create this game I've only payed 30 € for Game Maker license) so I've reduced it

-The game will be released on 6th February. Yes, I'm not really sure about it, but commitments come out like Pokemons and there are things to adjust in the game

But where it will be published?

I'm pointing to sell it on Desura (principal portal), Indievania, Indiecity, Impulse, Gamersgate and Kawagames. I'm evauating other portals, too. I hope that they will accept my game, but I think there are very good chanches.

And what about Space Break developing?

It is 80% complete, but the final developing process will be slowly, and for now there aren't rilevant bugs (except little errors that I will adjust).

It's all. See you on next post. Bye!

Alex
